About Vixx

I'm Vixx, a wife and mother of one in my - oh my God - 30s now and reside in the UK. I work full-time in education but masquerade as a freelance web designer in my spare time. While I love video games, music, books, writing and all things geek, my true indulgences include gin, chocolate, caffeine-free Diet Coke (I quit the good stuff), talking too much and swearing profusely. I am on a perpetual diet.

I’m comparatively new to web-design and have only had my own site since the tailend of 2003. I hold a BA (hons) In Media & Graphic Design and a Masters Degree in Special Educational Needs but my web design skills (such as they are!) are entirely self-taught.

I'm fairly pedantic about web standards and accessibility and code entirely by hand in good 'ole NotePad. I don't consider myself even remotely to be a progammer at all and am in complete awe of people who can code in languages other than XHTML!
