I find it quite odd that pure-essence.net was accepted into the gallery. 3 out of 4 of the criteria for what Perfection showcases and Guideline 3 are basically being ignored because Dodo is currently using a free WordPress theme. :(
Jem, just because I'm temporarily using a free theme doesn't mean I don't know how to design. View http://pure-essence.net/about/design-archive/ I do plan putting up a new layout soon that's not a free theme.
I've seen a lot of previous dodo's layout and can confirm she absolutely knows how to put up a wonderful standard complaint layout. In effect I don't know why she is currently on a premade one... she has definitely the skills to do a unique one!!! I hope she puts on the new theme soon
I didn't say you can't design Dodo, I said that you are using a free wordpress theme. Last time I checked that's not a codeword-way of insulting your abilities. I simply know for a fact that if anyone else were to join with a free theme they'd be declined by the majority for not displaying their abilities.
